FAQ
How do I know if I need infills or a full removal?
If your Gel or extensions are lifting or have grown out, infills may be all you need to restore their appearance.
Infills are typically done 3 to 4 weeks after the initial application to maintain the look and strength of your nails. However, if the product is heavily lifted, damaged, or if more than 4 weeks have passed, removal and reapplication might be the better choice.
Our technicians will assess your nails during the appointment and recommend the best option to ensure the health and beauty of your nails.

Why aren’t my nails lasting?

How should I care for my nails after a salon visit?
To keep your nails looking fresh and lasting longer after your salon visit, here are a few important aftercare tips:
1. Be Gentle with Your Nails: Avoid using your nails as tools to open packages or scratch surfaces. Even strong nails like Shellac or Gel can chip or lift if used improperly.
2. Use Gloves for Protection: When handling harsh cleaning chemicals, gardening, or doing dishes, always wear gloves. This prevents damage from chemicals or prolonged exposure to water, helping your nails last longer.
3. Moisturize Regularly: Keep your hands and cuticles moisturized by applying hand cream and cuticle oil daily. This helps prevent dryness and keeps your nails and surrounding skin healthy.
4. Avoid Biting or Picking: Resist the urge to bite your nails or pick at your cuticles and surrounding skin, as this can damage your nails and cause them to lift or break.
5. Book Regular Touch-Ups: To maintain healthy, long-lasting nails, book regular appointments. For Shellac, we recommend a visit every 2-3 weeks, while Gel infills should be scheduled every 3-4 weeks.
By following these simple steps, you’ll ensure your nails stay beautiful and strong long after your appointment!

Does Shellac or Gel damage my nails?
When applied and removed correctly by a professional, Shellac and Gel should not damage your nails.
The key to maintaining healthy nails is proper preparation, application, and removal.
Damage usually occurs when products are peeled or forced off the nails, or when the nails aren’t given proper care between appointments.
At our salon, we take special care to ensure your nails remain healthy by following the right techniques and using high-quality products. We also recommend regular aftercare, such as moisturizing your cuticles and wearing gloves when working with harsh chemicals, to keep your nails in great condition.
